Due to the temperature of the aluminum profile just coming out of the extrusion press will be around 600°C, the general conveyor belt will be deformed or even burned when exposed to such a high temperature. PBO Kevlar conveyor felt belts are capable of withstanding operating temperatures of up to 600˚ C /. High strength and superior abrasion resistance make this a preferred product for many extrusion conveying tables. This cover has PBO fibers with resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures.
